Once again, it was time for IMPACT Day – Prologis' annual and global day of service. The 2024 edition was spent by our Swedish team at Ågrenska's center on Lilla Amundön. For the second year in a row, we dedicated IMPACT Day to preparing for the summer camps that Ågrenska organizes for children with rare diagnoses. Ten colleagues from our Swedish team helped out with wood chopping and cleaning to help create the meeting place that is so important every summer for these children and their families. We all agreed that it felt wonderful to return and once again support Ågrenska's important work.
Prologis IMPACT Day was established in 2013 and was thus held for the twelfth year in a row this year. The day is built on the company's core values: Integrity, Mentorship, Passion, Accountability, Courage, and Teamwork (IMPACT). During the 2024 IMPACT Day, 2,500 Prologis employees, spread across 19 different countries, contributed thousands of hours of important charity work. In the countries where we operate, we collaborate with a large number of different organizations to make a difference for people and the environment. Within IMPACT Day, we have previously worked on everything from environmental campaigns, traffic safety, and the renovation of community centers.
Ågrenska is a national competence center for rare health conditions/diagnoses and other disabilities. It is a non-profit organization, and in their operations on Lilla Amundön, families with children who have rare diagnoses receive support and respite. It is also a meeting place, both for the children and their siblings and parents.
