Prologis teamed up with customers Jollyroom and Storex in an effort to make the season merry and bright by helping Gothenburg City Mission in their work to provide food, clothing and gifts to families living in poverty.
On December 15, Gothenburg City Mission will receive new toys on their wish list, ranging from dollhouses and race car tracks to electric motorbikes and craft kits. The collaboration between Prologis, Jollyroom and Storex will bring toys, valuing over SEK 30,000 total, to families living in poverty.
“It feels wonderful to be able to work with our customers and give more together to the City Mission and their important, much-needed work,” says Renée Randau Cibuk, who is in charge of the project for Prologis Nordics. “We want to thank both Jollyroom and Storex, which have been fully committed to this work.”
In addition to the Gothenburg City Mission, Prologis also has the privilege of supporting two more operations for the holidays: Ågrenska, which helps children and teens with rare diseases and disabilities have experiences that others may take for granted, and 7HParaAlpint, which wants to give everyone the opportunity to go downhill skiing.
All activities are part of the European project Dock Doors for Giving, initiated by Prologis. Through the project, Prologis raised over SEK 2 million to distribute to charities in December, 2020.
