Göteborg – 12 December 2017 – Prologis, Inc., the global leader in logistics real estate, today announced the acquisition of a 12,334 square meter logistics facility in Rosersberg, near Stockholm.
The building has been leased for the long term to Steelwrist AB.
“This acquisition is in line with our growth strategy in the Swedish market, especially in the Stockholm region. We are happy to close on this transaction and are pleased to welcome a new customer to our portfolio,” said Bram Verhoeven, senior vice president and country manager, Prologis Benelux & Nordics.
The property, which is located in the Rosersberg logistics hub, is close to Arlanda, Stockholm and other key transport routes, a feature that makes it optimal for today’s logistics needs.
“For us, this logistics property is a perfect fit since we outgrew our existing production facility in Sollentuna. Prologis was able to offer us this building at the right moment in time. We look forward to further expand our business from this location,” said Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO.
The seller is the former owner of Diskteknik. Prologis was advised by Nordic Gatekeeper and DLA Piper. Bellman & Partners and Hellström advised the seller.
Prologis also owns the Prologis Arlanda logistics park near Stockholm; that park comprises three buildings with a total area of approximately 60,000 square meters with additional land available for further construction.
